Brave New World, by Aldous Huxley. 1932. Find it in Maclic: Fiction HUX

A wonderful utopia? Or a future the author wants to alarm us about? I think this book is not only a literary gem but also a cry against genetic engineering, published even before it existed scientifically… What do you think?

NCEA Level 1 English Course 2009 “Argument”

Kia Ora,

So you chose this course? Well done! Here, you will find book reviews and discussions ideas. Yes you can write your comments. Tell your mates how a particular book contributes to the “Argument”, or what do YOU think.

Are fiction and non-fiction two different things? How the “imaginary” stories in novels and films are sometimes in reality an argument for a certain point of view, while the “facts” presented to us by the media are sometimes more opinion than truth.

Use and enjoy!

Florence
